If you were not at last night’s peewee volleyball game you missed seeing how awesome Field coaches are! Usually for peewee games Field scrimmages against ourselves, but last night they invited St. Mary’s girls to play with the Panthers. Great job showing sportsmanship and team work! #GrowKindess
Field School is looking to hire a Dean of Students for the 2025-2026 school year. Interested applicants please submit a resume, copy of PEL, 3 professional references to Ms. Jennifer Arnold at jarnold@fieldpanthers.com or 21075 N. Hails Lane Texico, IL 62889. Position will be opened until filled.
Qualifications:
1. Valid Professional Educator License (PEL).
2. Establish and maintain effective and courteous working relationships with those contacted in the course of work (students, parents, and staff).
3. Ability to understand and follow basic oral and written instructions.
4. Ability to communicate to students, parents, and staff in an acceptable/courteous manner.
5. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and Google programs.
Scheduling:
Regular working hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday. Schedule may vary based on district needs.
Pay & Benefits:

Duties include:
1. Manages student supervision issues and enforce behavioral expectations.
2. Counsels' students and parents about school and district policies.
3. Assists staff and parents in developing student behavioral expectations.
4. Assists in the planning, developing, and implementing of individual student behavior plans.
5. Serves as a resource to staff in dealing with classroom management issues.
6. Assists in developing programs to promote positive student behavior as well as intervention strategies.
7. Confers appropriate consequences for behavior including detention, in school suspension and out of school suspension.
8. Develops clearly understood procedures and provides regular drills for emergencies and disasters.
9. Establishes procedures that create and maintain attractive, organized, functional, healthy, clean, and safe facilities, with proper attention to the visual, acoustic and temperature.
10. Communicates with the Superintendent regularly about the needs, successes, and general operation of the school.
11. Establishes procedures for safe storing and integrity of all public and confidential school records.
12. Protects confidentiality of records and information gained as part of exercising professional duties and uses discretion in sharing such information with legal confines.
13. Attends required committee meetings and extra school sponsored functions.
14. Communicates regularly with parents, seeking their support and advice, as to create a cooperative relationship to support the student in school.
15. Provides supervision at events.
16. Performs any other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
