FOCAL took a trip to Urban Air today to reward themselves for all their hard work this year! These kids were praised for being the best group they have had visit in a long time. We are so proud of them for being such good humans!

We are sorry this page was not printed in the yearbook with the awards the cheerleaders earned. Great job, ladies on your accomplishments!

Congratulations to Xander Ashby for placing 17th out of 50 golfers today at the state match! We are proud of you!

K-2 is moving their zoo field trip to Monday, May 15.
Yesterday, we kicked off Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week with a breakfast spread. Today, Chef Adam is serving up delicious eats with his Food is Life truck. We love our school, we love our staff, and we love food trucks!

Due to the possibility of rain for Thursday the 8th grade graduation will be inside. The doors will open at 6:00PM. Tickets are not limited. Each student will have two seats reserved for parents close up and other visitors will find a seat where available.

Yesterday both morning and afternoon preschool classes had a butterfly release.

Yesterday was the last class for the Grow, Gobble, Give program brought to us by University of Illinois 4H Program. Thank you, Ms. Bailey Furlong for helping us learn more about plants and the jobs insects have.

Mrs. Hallam’s 1st Grade took the assembly line to the test while learning about the inventor Henry Ford. The moving assembly line was just the start of the mass production of automobiles! They were able to make 10 craft houses in 7.5 minutes using the assembly line, compared to the 2.5-5.5 minutes it took to assemble one craft house with a friend.
