Field School wishes to share their condolences with the Jefferson County Sherriff's Office on the loss of K9 Officer Tico. We had the pleasure of having Tico and his handler Deputy Kevin Rodriguez come to Field and share a bit about Tico last year.

Reminder: Booster Club meeting tonight @ 5:30 pm located @ FIeld School in cafeteria! We encourage everyone to attend!! Membership forms will be available to be filled out and the cost to join is $5 per person! Voting rights after 30 days from time membership form was turned in! Just a reminder to all concession stand volunteers tonight especially that there are Blue concession stand cash that was handed out to the Boys Basketball team for the most team Spirit!! Big thank You to Jenney Fenton!!! They are worth $5! $1 increments and to mark off what they spend on concession stand card if they don’t spend it all at once! Once all spent please put under cash tray in money box! Once again thank you to all Parents, coaches, staff, all Field Athletes, and all those that have volunteered there time to help make FGS Booster Club a success thus far! Let’s keep it going!!

IAR Scores from the 2020-2021 school year are in. Students in grades 4-8 will be getting them upon return to school.

Save the Date! Picture retakes will be 11.19.21. Winter sports (basketball and cheerleading) photos will also be taken at this time.

Field Grade School Booster Club meeting is November 17th @ 5:30pm in the school cafeteria! We encourage new members and current ones to come and participate! Also encourage coaches to come as well! Please note that to be eligible to vote you must have been a member for 30 days!!

Daylight Saving Time ends at 2:00AM on Sunday, November 7. Please change your clock back one hour.

Families are asked to come by the school on Friday, November 5th from 8:00AM-6:00PM to pick up their student(s) work for the next week. If you have completed work that is ready to be turned in this may also be done at this time.

In order for a student to be counted present during remote learning they must do homework for that day and turn it on Monday, November the 8th. If you have any questions regarding work teachers are available by phone (618) 755-4611 or email from 9:00AM-1:00PM Tuesday-Friday.

Attention Parents and Guardians: Due to a high number of absences, Field Community Consolidated School District has determined that it would be best that the district transition to Remote Learning from November 2nd through November 5th. The decision to transition to Remote Learning was reached after consultation with the Jefferson County Health Department. During Remote Learning teachers will be available from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM via email or phone to answer questions about assignments on Remote Learning days. Additionally, if you signed up for a parent teacher conference, they will now take place over the phone. From November 2nd-November 5th there will be no athletic contests or practices at Field School. Finally, if you would like to pick up breakfast or lunch for your child, or children, please notify the school by 2:00 PM each day for the next day’s meals. Breakfast and lunch will be available for pickup each day between 10:30-11:15 AM. Thank you, Wayne Stone Field School

Bus # 16 will be running late this morning. It will be leaving school after another bus returns. We are sorry for the late notice and inconvenience. If you need to drop your student(s) off the school is open at 7:30AM.
